Job Description :

The intern will be working on software applications for the entire Test & Measurement portfolio of products. The main focus would be to develop test applications for new products in R&D as well as maintaining/supporting existing products in the market.

Role and Responsibility :

  • Develop test applications for new products in R&D
  • Maintain/Support existing products in the market
  • Work closely with hardware engineers to understand the product under test
  • Develop user interfaces for the application to enable users to configure the instrument and interpret results
  • Develop algorithms for the application to perform calculations and data analysis
  • Develop scripts for automating various tasks
  • Troubleshoot issues reported by customers or found during internal testing
  • Improve performance and memory usage of applications
  • Port applications to different operating systems like Windows, Linux, macOS

Education and Skills :

  • Candidates pursuing B.E/B.Tech or equivalent degree with specialization in Electronics Engineering or related field
  • Good programming skills in C#, Python, Java, C++ or any other object oriented language
  • Experience with Java script & Testing
  • Knowledge of scripting languages like python, batch scripting etc
  • Knowledge of databases like SQL Server, Oracle
  • Experience with developing windows applications
  • Good communication skills, should be able to communicate effectively with users and other stakeholders
  • Should be a quick learner and self-motivated
  • Previous experience with test equipment or electronics measurement instruments is desirable but not essential
