Job Description :

Tower Research Capital, a high-frequency proprietary trading firm founded in 1998, seeks an Intern to join our Core AI & Machine Learning team. An Intern Machine Learning Engineer is an entry-level professional who assists in designing and implementing machine learning models. They work under the guidance of experienced engineers, leveraging their academic knowledge to solve real-world problems.

Role and Responsibility :

  • Develop and maintain data pipelines for the acquisition, cleaning, processing, and analysis of diverse datasets.
  • Design and implement machine learning models, including those based on LLMs for natural language processing.
  • Conduct experiments to assess model performance and implement necessary improvements.
  • Assist in the optimization and fine-tuning of existing models.

Education and skills:

  • Currently pursuing or holding a bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD from a leading university, with availability for an in-office internship starting in May 2025.
  • Prior experience with training and deploying machine learning models using frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch is essential.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and MLOps practices for automated model deployment.
  • Proficient in Linux, SQL, Git, and BASH scripting, with strong Python programming skills.
