An application engineer’s job is to design, develop, test, and implement software applications for customers. They also provide technical support, perform installations and maintenance, and create documentation.

Roles & Responsibility:

  • In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as a design authority for an engineering discipline with low to medium complexity.
  • Each day, you will complete assignments on small projects or portions of larger projects in a cost-effective manner.
  • You will also showcase your expertise by applying basic design thinking/ design for excellence concepts in projects.

Education and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (electrical/ electronics/ instrumentation/ mechatronics).
  • Knowledge in software development for automation technology (high-level languages e.g. ST, C).
  • 0 to 4 years in ‘Machine Automation’ development and support experience.
  • Confident in communication in the English language and local language.
  • Experience in the field of automation/ electrical (PLC, drives, control systems, motion control).
